Hey guys,
I have been wearing contacts for the past 6 months and I am nearsighted. While they have corrected vision at a distance, reading for long periods of times becomes more difficult. At first, the text is very sharp when reading close, but as I continue to read, it slowly becomes slightly blurry. After I blink a few times, it gets sharp again and then gets blurry with time. It happens constantly and is very frustrating. Do you guys have any idea why this may be? I know my prescription is correct but close vision is blurry. |

I'm not sure why your eyes get tired when you read with them. It kind of sounds like they're beginning to dry out on your eyes, but I can't be sure with just a verbal description. I'm near sighted too, and when I try to read with my glasses on it puts a big strain on my eyes as well. Maybe you can try some eye drops. Just make sure to use the kind that's specifically for contact lenses. Visine makes them, as well as several other brands. |
