Default Cloudy lenses

Hello - Think I am on the wrong lens forum as my issue seems to be with all lenses I try. Worn glasses for 10 yrs - decided to try lenses again after a long break - I have tried Acuvue oasys, freshlook 2 weekly, Acuvue Advance and now Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism - all of them cloud over within hours of putting them in - I clean them and they are great - crystal clear but sure enough after 1hour they cloud over.
Then I tried B&L torics - fantastic for a week then my left eye started to cloud over so I got a replacement pair form the eye doctor - great for an hour then BOTH eyes clouded over and now as soon as I put them in they seem dirty and the vision is terrible. I have now gone back to acuvue 2 - I tried them today for the first time and they were ok - not great as they dont correct the astigmatism BUT after 3 hrs - cloudy.
I am so majorly stressed out with all of this - i need a toric lens but am willing to forgoe the crystal clarity if i could at least get lenses that dont cloud over - surely there is a lens for me out there? the lenses I used to wear were focus dailies(long time ago)
On a further note my eye doc examined the lenses and she said they are not dirty. She is ordering me in some other toric brands to try. Also I have to say my eyes the last few days feel dry. I have used rewetting drops etc nothing works long term - so so disapointed - can anyone help me?

Hi there sarahaukett01. Welcome to Lens 101, although I wish you were having an easier time.

There are several posts here about cloudy lenses. Have you tried the search function? I did and I found 16 posts that mention cloudy lenses. However, most of those are people asking a question but not getting a reply.

I did some searching on other sites, and nothing really jumped out at me, except that a lot of people said that cloudy lenses can be the result of not cleaning them really, really well. You may want to try some stuff called "Clear Care." You soak your lenses overnight in a little basket immersed in solution. That's supposed to be really good. Try Clear Care. You can pick it up in any drug store. Walgreens is a specific name I found.
