I haven't tried it, but I did manage to find a picture of the box.

I haven't tried it, so I thought I'd search Amazon and other similar sites to see if there are any customer reviews, but I didn't see any. So I look at it this way: people are very eager to write about how much they hated a product, and if there's nothing said about it, it can't be that bad, right?

no i wear 2 but they haven,t got it right yet, so I am trying many different brands and prescriptions. I am kind of confused, I think I am going to throw out all of the trials and start over. At the moment I am wearing Biofinity multifocal in my left eye, and acuve view for astigmatism in my right eye, but i have trials for Proclear Multifocal toric, proclear, provision toric, bio finity multifocal distant,...

I use similar but not exactly.

I use Opti Free Pure Moist HydraGlyde.

Maybe they are not re-wetting drops but instead solution for storage and cleaning.

Optifree.com describes these drops as "provid[ing] long-lasting moisture from the moment you put in your lenses until the end of your day1 – so you can have confidence in your contacts.

Only OPTI-FREE® PureMoist® Contact Solution features the HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix. The HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix surrounds your lenses in a cushion of moisture to keep contacts hydrated throughout the day, delivering comfort from insertion to removal."

That advertisement positively gushes, doesn't it? It doesn't mention re-wetting, though, so I think you're right about their being a cleaning and storage solution.

The box says that they are for cleaning etc. I just wondered if anyone out in Lens world has tried it and if so what do they think?.....I am going to try it myself this evening.

well i tried it last nite. my right eye i am wearing Acuvue for astimatism, it feels about the same, but it is not a new lens so perhaps, i should try a newer lens.
on my left eye i wear biofinity multifocal, it is also a older lense, however, it is more comfortable, i think that is interesting. So i will do the study for a week and see how it goes.

So do both of those lenses clean up good with the Opti-Free Pure Moist HydraGlyde?

My left eye has developed a twich, so I stopped using the moist for a week, and the twich is gone, so I will stay with opti free.

Interesting. How could your lens solution cause a twitch? What did your doctor say about it? I'm not saying I don't believe you, I just don't get it.

I don,t know, It started a few days after i started using it, and it stopped after I stopped using it... so it never happened with the other solutions just the moist. The moist felt like heavy duty eye drops, kind of thick.

That's weird. At least you don't get that twitch from other solutions.

I switched to opti free pure moist multi purpose solution and I LOVE it. I used to use Biotru by Bausch and Lomb and this solution always killedm y lens in 4 hours. Seriosuly, that's only 4 hours of usage. So annoying. Then my Dr. gave me thiso ne and instantly my lens life extended to 7 hours without re-wetting drops and I have dry eyes. So this is perfect. I have use Opti free express and that is also good.

I'm glad you like OptiFree Pure Moist solution. So what happened four hours after you used the Biotrue? You said it "killed" your contact lenses. What does that mean?

Default PurePoist

I have tried the stuff, actually liked it, used it along with the matching rewetting drops. I was new to contacts, didn't know anything about them, ECP gave me PureMoist. After 2 weeks of wearing lenses, I had red eyes. Removed lenses for 3 days, reinserted, 1 week later, the same. Red eyes. Again, took them out, left out, reinserted - same thing again. I thought it was me not being able to wear lenses until I did my research. I switched solutions and drops. I am now using ClearCare and OptiFree Replenish Drops for about 2 months now. NO problems with red eyes, I am even able to leave my lenses in for 3-4 days at a time (They ARE extended wear lenses).

Good, I'm glad that you were able to figure out where those red eyes came from and how you could find some relief.
