Default Acuvue 2 vs. Acuvue

I have been wearing regular Acuvue lenses for several years, with no problems. Are Acuvue 2 lenses different/better? Would appreciate advice.

If you've been wearing Acuvue lenses without a problem, why are you asking about Acuvue 2? I'm just curious, and I'll answer your question anyway.

First off, I was surprised how hard it was to find a website that would tell me why Acuvue 2 lenses are better than Acuvue. I would think that if Johnson and Johnson found a way to make Acuvue lenses in a way that's different enough to call them Acuvue 2, they would shout if from the rooftops. "Hey, everybody! Think Acuvue lenses are good? Wait until you try Acuvue 2! They're even better!" but I didn't find anything like that.
Secondly, the only clue I found was something about "an improved edge design" but none of the websites gave any detail.
