the oxygen factor of acuvue is 40 dk/t, acuvue-2 is 33 dk/t.
but if the lens can be worn over night, its oxygen factor must reach at least 100 dk/t. so i'm puzzled why acuvue and acuvue-2 can be continious worn for one week. i tried to wear acuvue for only once over night, but it was very uncomfortable, and in the second day my eye felt very dry. i also tried to wear focus night & day over night, it was much better than acuvue. |

I don't know about that 100 dk/t. I've never heard that particular figure. As for the rest of your questions, I suppose it varies from person to person. The final authority is the doctor that fits your contacts. You should listen to him or her, no matter what the Internet says. |

I am with you. I have tried to wear my acuvues overnight and they become like suction cups to your eyeballs. It is horrible. I can't imagine how it would be to wear them for a week straight! I think that they should be taken out every night and not slept in.
