I seem to recall there being an Acuvue Toric contact lens. Is it now being sold as Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism?

To answer your question, PeriBrown, I did a Google search for "Acuvue Toric" and the first result was Lens.com. When I clicked on the link, it took me to the Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism page. |

The Acuvue Toric was a 2 week lens made of 42% polymer (etafilcon A) and 58% water. It was a toric version of the Acuvue 2 and the daily acuvue.
The lens was discontinued and replaced with toric lenses made of silicon hydrogel, namely the acuvue advance for astigmatism and the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism. Lens mfg don't seem willing to continue to mfg brands which don't sell enough to be worth stocking. |

That's probably true for any manufacturer, wouldn't you say?
