Default Prescription Help For Changing to Acuvue Contacts
Let's say you're starting with a contact lens prescription of Radius/Diameter: 8.6/13.8

Now you want to use Acuvue, which doesn't have exactly the same size. Its either 8.50/14.2 or 9.00/14.2.

What do you do?

I'm not sure I'd trust Lenscrafters to me that seems like taking a medical condition to a so-called "doc-in-the-box" or quick clinic where they emphasize fast service over quality care.

What can your local optometrist do to change the size of the contact lenses? Maybe they can say an 8.5 base curve is close enough or something?

I don't know. Maybe they can measure your eyes and check on their overall health and let you know if they can tolerate contact lenses that don't quite fit.

Most things work better when they fit properly.

Yeah. contacts aren't very comfortable when they're too tight either.
