I don't know if that rebate is available any more. I went to the Acuvue page on Lens.com and it didn't say anything about a rebate, and I'm pretty sure it used to.

I found something on the Acuvue website that might interest you. http://www.acuvue.com/buying-rebates.htm

It seems as though you need to buy in bulk to get a rebate. Here's an example:

ACUVUE® OASYS® Brand with HYDRACLEAR® Plus
• $50 New Wearer Rebate with purchase of 8 boxes
New Wearer rebate only for new ACUVUE® OASYS® Brand with HYDRACLEAR® Plus wearers.
ACUVUE® OASYS® Brand for ASTIGMATISM and ACUVUE® OASYS® Brand for PRESBYOPIA are not eligible for this rebate.
• $25 Rebate with purchase of 8 boxes
For current wearers of ACUVUE® OASYS®

I hope you haven't canceled your order yet, Bulliana. If you are still looking for the rebate form, I found it right here: https://www.acuvue.com/buying-rebates-launch386-160.htm

If that link doesn't work for some reason, then go to the Acuvue home page at www.acuvue.com, then on the left side of the page will be a black banner with blue text.
Click on "Buying" and then on the menu that drops down from there click 'Get Your Rebate."
Then on the next page will be a paragraph in black text, but the part that says "start an Acuvue rebate" will be in blue. Click the blue text and finally, (Whew) you will see the rebate form.

I hope you can just copy and paste the link.

If you are a PDF kinda person, you can download a PDF of the form here: http://www.acuvue.com/pdf/af10423-2010-q4-rebate.pdf

If there are any more questions, let us know and someone here will help you. Enjoy that rebate. It will be faster to do it than to read about it, and a lot faster than it took me to write it.

I followed the instructions given by Privateyez, but I didn't order contacts this time. The rebate form still comes up when you click the link, but you have to either click "On or before December 31, 2010" or "on or after January 1, 2011." So I guess something must have changed on the first of this year. I clicked on "on or after January 1, 2011" and still got a rebate form opening up, so I guess the offer still stands.

Default There's Still Time

It looks like you can still take advantage of this offer for a little while. Here's what it says on that link: Purchases of 1•DAY ACUVUE® MOIST®, ACUVUE® OASYS®, ACUVUE® OASYS® for ASTIGMATISM, ACUVUE® OASYS® for PRESBYOPIA and 1•DAY ACUVUE® TruEye™ must be made 1/1/11 through 6/30/11 and within 90 days after the eye exam.

Seeing how you need to buy your contacts during a certain time beginning on January 1, 2011, it would seem that the offer has been extended.

I read this and felt bad you you were "totally frustrated." I hope you were able to order your Acuvue contacts after reading this thread.

Yeah, me too. I wish that he or she would check back and give us some closure. You know how Dr. Phil likes closure. Last we heard he or she was trying to print up a rebate form and a few people came in with instructions, and that was it. I'm guessing that all is well now.

Default Unable to print acuvue rebate form online

I am totally frustrated with trying to fill out the acuvue rebate form online. I keep getting a message that my account already exists and to enter my password but I've already logged on with my password and when I enter into the same form I keep getting the same message. Is it possible to download the form as a pdf so I can complete it and send it in? I've spent more than an hour trying to do this all for a $25 Visa rebate. Help please!

If you haven't done this already, try calling Johnson & Johnson at (800) 843-2020
Monday through Friday: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time. Let us know what they tell you, okay?

I don't know how I would check without actually applying for the rebate, because I don't have any Acuvue lenses. I noticed no one has posted a link to the rebate page yet, so here it is: http://www.acuvue.com/buying-rebates.htm

Can someone give it a try and then tell us what happened?

It's not the beginning of November, and no response yet. That means that 1) the Acuvue rebate issue has been resolved or 2) it's still an issue but no one's posting on Lens 101 about it.

Funny how one letter can change the whole meaning of a statement. You said "It's not the beginning of November" but I think you meant "it's NOW the beginning of November," right? Seeing that your post was dated November 8 and all . . .

Depending on the lenses ordered, and how long they last, someone said we should not order more than 6 months at a time, since prescriptions might change & we need yearly eye exams.

That makes sense to me, DejaVu. I'd hate to order two years' worth of contact lenses, and then find out a year later that my prescription has changed. That would be a drag.

Personally, I didn't think it was very funny when C-3PO said "What a drag" in that scene. That was about the time when the puns got to be too much.
Next he'll be in a comedy club saying "An Ewok, a Jawa and a Rancor go into a bar . . . "

At least he didn't wind up serving drinks like some droids I could name . . .

Back to the original subject. Can you still get an Acuvue rebate form? If so, from whence doth it come?
