Default Adrienne Vittadini AV 5057S Sunglasses on the Computer

I don't mean the sunglasses literally sitting on the computer. Some years ago I remember seeing a gentleman sitting at a computer wearing sunglasses. I'm not sure why that is, but I bet someone on Lens 101 does. Can anybody tell me why someone might be wearing sunglasses while working on a computer?

He was an older fella, not a teenager, by the way so I have my doubts about any theories involving a Cool Factor.

Well, maybe this "fella" had some kind of sensitivity to light. Even I have some trouble looking at this bright screen. I tend to see a lot of floaters against the white background.
