Woah. How about a little punctuation now an then?

Without seeing you or your contacts, I can only guess by your description that the right lens might not have the right fit. Take your contacts back to your doctor and describe your symptoms like you did here. Hopefully then your doctor will find something that fits properly.

Moneyfornothin has a good idea. Go to your eye doctor and get your contact lenses checked for proper fit.

Jay881...I am having the same problem. For me, the doctor has me in monovision contacts. That means that one eye sees far away, and the other eye sees close up. My brain is having to adjust to seeing this way. If you have monovision lenses, your brain may be going through the same thing mine is. As I understand it, the adjustment takes time. You should check with your doctor soon to make sure that you are on the right track monovision lenses or not. Good luck with yours!

Thank you for the encouragement, Jodi. I'm not Jay881, but I still like your comment. I hope it helps a lot of people who are struggling with monovision. Maybe you can search this forum and spread your words of encouragement to others who are having difficulties.

Thanks, Unclelar...I hope it is helpful. I'll be happy to give encouragement to anyone who is describing circumstances that sounds like mine.

Jay781...Just want you to know that my eyesight ceased to be blurry today. So, it took my eyes 7 days to adjust. Hang in there...I hope you have the same outcome!

7 days. That doesn't sound so terribly bad. How was it from day to day? Was in a very gradual improvement, or could you tell right away first thing in the morning that things were looking and feeling better?

So you and your monovision contact lenses are getting along all right these days, Jodi? A week doesn't sound like too much time to adapt to using monovision lenses.

How are your contact lenses feeling now, Jay? Have you regained the ability to use punctuation and capitalization?

Be nice, Unclelar. Your punctuation and capitalization isn't always perfect either.

I didn't say it before, so I thought I'd come back and thank you for your reassuring words.
