Default Air Optix Aqua - For Occasional Use Only

If you only want to wear contact lenses when you're socializing with your friends but not at work, would Air Optix Aqua contact lenses be a good choice?

Default look at it this way!

The idea of wearing disposable lenses is the fact that your lenses stay fresh and clean.

Is it ok to wear a monthly lens part time.. 1 month equals 30 wears. If your contacts are soaking for months at a time then u wear them here and there maybe its a good idea to get 1 day disposables or a 2 week lens so that your wearing clean lenses.

Acuvue trueye- great new silicone high dk 1 day lens
coopervision Avaira 2 week silicone lens

You said that Acuvue TruEyes are a "great new silicone high dk 1 day lens." What are your thoughts about the Avaira lenses you mentioned?

Avaira lenses were introduced to the CL market to compete with Acuvue oasys...both 2 week lenses have great oxygen transmission but Avaira and Biofinity lenses fit differently. Both Avaira and Biofinity come from similiar materials!

answer: avaira lenses from experience are harder to fit due to the available parameters (base curves). Its a "tighter" fitting lens.

Ah, yes. The base curves are definitely something you need to get right.

Does that mean that Avaira lenses come in different base curves from Acuvue Oasys, or that the same base curves fit differently between the lenses?
