In many cases, medical insurance will only pay for procedures and products that they deem as "medically necessary" such as an emergency appendectomy or a wheelchair. When it comes to prescription sunglasses, they aren't always viewed as "necessary." If you wanted to get these Airlock Sunglasses with prescription-formed lenses, would your medical insurance cover the cost, or at least a percentage of it?
