Default Altair UCB 458S Sunglasses Style Advice

What constitutes a stylish pair of Altair sunglasses? What things should I keep in mind when shopping for them? Any styles and/or colors I should avoid, or should aim for? What would you consider an eyewear faux pas? Also, tell me what you think of the UCB 458S style. Do you like them? Do ya think they're sexy?

Eerrm . . . I don't see anything, Rhonda. How can I tell you if I think they're sexy if I can't see them?

Be that as it may, I like to tell people to go with the "opposite rule." Buy sunglasses that have a shape that's opposite to that of your face. If you've got a round face, buy some angular sunglasses and vice versa. Styles and colors are up to you. You may want to bring a trusted friend with you as you shop so you can get a second opinion on your choices.

I think you should choose such Sunglasses which will look nice on your face. Other things like size and colour doesn't matters if it looks good on you.

Thanks Brain, but what if I don't know what "looks good"? I don't really want to just try on sunglasses at random. What do you think of Ragnarox's "opposite rule"?

I've heard that "opposite rule" myself. If you have a round or oval-shaped face, then the rectangular lenses like the ones you see above should compliment that shape.

I think size and color does play a role in making a pair of sunglasses look good. it is possible to get them wrong, but most options are pretty safe for most people. A petite woman may not look very good in oversized sunglasses though.

I agree HelpMeRhonda. I think most sunglasses look good on most people.

Can anyone challenge that statement and show me a pair of sunglasses that only look good on a select group of people?

I think that green pair of bug eye sunglasses would be a good example of sunglasses that look good on a select group of people.

I forget where I found that picture, but I bet it was taken in the vicinity of Roswell, New Mexico.
