I've heard that a drop of clear nail polish applied to the screws that hold your sunglasses frames together can prevent them from loosening, but there's one small detail that's often overlooked.
If you put the screws in and then add a drop of polish on the head of the screw, you'll just prevent a screwdriver from getting into the slot. If you want to seal the screws in place, use a bit of nail polish on the threads. That will hold the screws in place, but it will allow you to remove them if necessary.
