Bausch and Lomb has stopped shipping its ReNu solution since health officials found a possible link to an infection that can cause temporary blindness.

Teller also says some research suggests all-in-one solutions in general might not be up to the task of cleaning lenses properly. Federal health watchers say they still can't say for sure that the ReNu solution caused the infections that turned up in patients in 17 states.
