Let's face it, as cool as sunglasses can be, their actual function is to protect our eyes from too much UV light. That should be our main motivation for buying them.
Now, I've heard that the glass and plastic that they make sunglass lenses out of can protect from UV in itself, is that true? The coating that they add just brings the protection factor up close to 100%, isn't that right? |
