Default Arnette 3049 Lock Down Sunglasses

Normally I wouldn't question the name of a pair of sunglasses. Most names are just fine. I'm not too sure about "Lock Down" though. To me that sounds like a prisoner has escaped and no one goes anywhere until he's found. That doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me. I'd rather have sunglasses that remind me of a day at the beach, not in prison.

" . . . . a day at the beach, not in prison." Good one.

I really don't know why the marketing department at Arnette went with "Lockdown." Maybe they thought it sounded tough, I don't know.

I'm glad I could provide a grin for you, Brittvid.

I'm not sure what the Marketing Department was thinking either. Maybe they want you to think that if you wear these sunglasses you'll be so sexy that all the members of the opposite sex will have to be protected from your awesomeness.

Hey . . . I should go into advertising myself. I suppose this forum is a kind of advertising, isn't it?

You've got to be careful with the awesomeness. Just ask the Captain here . . .

I may be a captain, but I'll never hope to match the awesomeness of James T. Kirk. Sail on, good Captain, sail on.
