Mirrored sunglasses are just one of the many styles to choose from when it comes to choosing a pair of effective sunglasses. This type of lens features a highly reflective coating to reduce the amount of light actually reaching your eye. The purpose is to reflect the light off of the lens so it doesn’t reach the eye at all. Mirrored lenses have been proven to absorb between 10 and 60 percent more light than normal lenses, ultimately offering more protection than normal sunglasses can offer.
