AVAIRA After wearing them for 7 days. Help!!! Fuzzy

Hello to all in this forum.

I wear Avaira Toric. When I wear a brand new pair I see crystal clear, no discomfort at all. After seven days of wearing the same pair they get a little fuzzy. Sometimes I get nine to ten days of usage before they get fuzzy.

It is my understaning that Avaira are two weeks contacts. I have never gotten two full weeks.

Every night when I remove my contacts I apply three drops of Clear Care solution to each side of the contact and rub them in the palm of my hand for about ten seconds, back and forth movement - not in a circular motion -. My doctor indicated not to rub them in circular motion because I can tear the contact easily. She said to rub them in a back and forth motion each side of the lens.
Then I put away each lens acording to Clear Care instructions, for at least six hours.

Is there a reason my Avaira's Contact do not last a full two weeks??

Hi robbykennedy.

So you're using Clear Care? There's some people who use Clear Care on this site and everyone thinks it's great. There's even a thread that talks about using Clear Care to clean Avaira lenses, and it seems to do fine. However, in this post, Redraidermommy says that she likes to use the Clear Care every few days for a deep clean. Otherwise she uses an Opti-Free Replenish/B&L Sensitive Eyes combo for a 1-2 punch.
