Here's something I read on a website that gives instructions on how to insert and remove contact lenses. It says "Patients should be instructed to insert and remove the lenses over a cloth or paper towel spread on a table (not over a sink drain.)"
They gave a lot of detailed instructions about how to insert contact lenses, but they never explained what the towel is for. Is it just to provide a cleaner surface for the lens to land on if you should drop it? Is it easier to pick a contact lens up from a towel than a counter top? |

Probably not, judging from the silence. Thanks OV-102. I almost feel like you chased someone off that was bothering me. Not that frankiemuniz01 was really bothering me, just that I didn't really see anything related to my original question.
