Default Have You Ever Seen Avalon Sunglasses in The So-called “Cat Eye” Style?

Another popular vintage sunglass style that has made its way back onto the fashion scene is the cat eye. For those of you who are unaware of the cat eye sunglasses style, they are basically sunglasses with frames in the shape of cat’s eye. Although the pointy, rhinestone detailed style has become extremely popular, there aren't very many celebrities wearing the cat eye sunglasses. So if you don’t follow celebrities, you’re good.

I'm not a big fan of the cat-eye look myself. When I was looking for a picture to post, I noticed that the thing that makes cat eye sunglasses is the point on the outsides of the frames where the temples connect. See it there?

Yup. They are pointy little frames, aren't they?

Yeah, and cat's eyes really aren't all that pointy, are they?

Is there anyone here who has started wearing cats-eye glasses after 1970? Look at those pictures up there. It looks like color was added to black and white pictures.

Your right, Pathfinder. They do have that "colorized" look.

I do believe that chap in the brown leather jacket is Ozzy Osborne.

Nobody's wearing sunglasses in that picture. We know how Ozzy likes his round sunglasses these days.

Here he is cozying up to Kermit the Frog.
