Default Baby Phat 2028 Sunglasses Protection From Debris

Most folks wear sunglasses to protect their eyes from too much sunlight, but some wear them as a physical barrier between their delicate eyes and the outside world. They can protect the eyes against impacts with small pebbles, twigs and leaves. Do you or does anyone you know use Baby Phat Sunglasses for debris protection?

Well, I never thought about using sunglasses as a shield. That's probably not out of the question since many sunglasses are impact resistant. These particular Baby Phat sunglasses, however, are a nasty shade of green. If I saw these sunglasses I may be tempted to throw debris at them.

I have to admit you're right, ruththomas. They are kind of an unusual browish green color. I wonder what they call it?
I just want to tell our reading audience to make sure that there's an actual tag on the sunglasses that says that they meet ANSI standards of impact resistance before you use them for safety glasses.

Good call, Privateyez. Look for the tag and try to ignore the funky green color.

Yes, try to focus on what's important; and try to resist the urge to throw stuff.

I looked these sunnies up, and evidently the color is called "Olive Green."

Good work, Ruththomas. Maybe I should try that "looking things up" bit.

Speaking of using sunglasses as a shield, how about using shades as a barrier against making eye contact?

I'm sure that happens. I ride buses and trains a lot and it seems like I see someone wearing sunglasses every day, rain or shine. I think it's on those cloudy or rainy days I see those people who don't want to make eye contact.
Ironically wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day will make more people look at you.

Yeah, I bet it's true that wearing sunglasses when it not sunny will increase the possibility of eye contact.

Well, if someone is wearing sunglasses, how can you tell if you're making eye contact with them or not? Are they looking at you--or looking back at you?

Right, if I'm--for example--looking at a beautiful stranger, I may be shy and not want her to know I'm checking her out, so sunglasses could come in handy, right?
