Default Bifiocal Contacts With Two Prescriptions

Bifocal contacts are clever devices that have the bottom half shaped to allow the wearer to read and look at things close up, and the top half is usually just clear. Can you get the top half shaped to help you see far away?

Not all contacts are designed in the manner you described (translating). But yes there are multi-focal contacts. This site might help you, http://www.allaboutvision.com/over40/multifocalcls.htm .

Of course not all contacts are designed this way. Are multi-focals divided into top and bottom, like bifocals? I thought they were more like targets or something.
