Default Bifocals for Golfing

I recently came across a website that showed a picture of special bifocal eyeglasses specially designed for the golfer. The part that magnifies was way down at the bottom of the lens and off to one side. I have two questions. Do these "golfer's glasses" really exist, and how does that odd arrangement help one's golf game?

I think you're referring to this site: Vision Fore Golfing Home. Eyeglasses for golfing, golf eye glasses, better vision for your golf game, see better with a sharper clearer image through custom made eyeglasses for golf..

How it improves your game would be the ability to look down and focus on the ball better. Moreover, you'd need distance vision to see where the ball is heading.

Maybe I need to look into these glasses that way I could see the ball better when I try to hit it. That way it would not take me so long to hit a ball.

Have you heard this one? "Golf is a game where the player places a ball that's one inch in diameter on top of another ball that's eight thousand miles in diameter, and the object is to hit the little ball."

I think I saw that joke someplace else on this forum. Oh well, I hope the one who posted it doesn't mind me using it.

Wow! That bifocals is very interesting. My father likes to play golf and it could be very helpful for him. Anyway, I haven't heard much about this. Is it available in the market now?

Yes. I bet you can get these glasses for your father for Christmas. (Maybe I shouldn't say "I bet" to someone who calls themselves "gamblinglord." ) Visionforegolfing.com gives you ten steps to buying these special golf glasses.

Step One: You need a current eye examination.
The first step towards your great pair of precision golfing eyeglasses begins with your newest accurate and thorough eye examination. (Of course, when you take him it to be fitted, it might ruin the surprise.)

Step Two: View Samples
As soon as you have obtained your current prescription, visit our store to see our samples. Try them on not only for size, but for prescription approximation, lens shape and frame color and style.

Step Three: Your Fitting
In order to give you the absolute best fit for your precision golfing eyeglasses, we have to take some measurements to make certain the lenses are placed in front of your eyes in the best possible way.

Step Four: Patient History

Step Five: Your Order Goes to the Lab
Your lenses and frame are ordered and your tray is organized and ready for production.
