Default Bifocals on the Plane

Those of you who wear bifocal contact lenses, do you take them off before traveling by air because of the dry atmosphere on most modern airliners?

Hi Bosoxfan.

I don't wear bifocal contact lenses, but since you've been waiting for an answer for about two years, I thought I'd give it a go.

I've flown on airplanes a few times, and I never noticed the air being especially dry in the cabin. If that's a concern, and you haven't already flown for the last time, you may want to bring some eye drops on board with you, but be prepared for the pre-flight inspection. According to the latest information from Transportation Security Administration, no liquid containers are allowed on board unless they are less than 100 ml or 3.4 ounces.

Strangely enough, snow globes are strictly prohibited.

Thanks for the heads up about the snow globes. I guess I'd better cancel my trip to the annual convention . . .
