Hey guuys, new to the forum. I've been wearing contacts for 9 years now, I'm currently on proclears, but the problem I find is that they don't nearly last a month, 2 to 3 weeks max, reading through some of the posts here, Biofinity sounds like a better option, because I think my eyes draw more oxygen than the proclears can provide, nearing 3 weeks I start to get infections in my eyes and they are very irritated, put in new contacts and it goes away? Any thoughts on this? I am a qualified electrcian, so I work in all types of environnments, and also long hours, and I need a lens that supports me all the time....

Do monthly lenses typical last a full month for you?

Well I've been wearing them for 3 years now, think I had aquview or something like that before them, lasted a month and never irritated my eyes, but the proclears are starting to get to me. Spoke to my eye docter, she said some of her clients doesn't like them. My girls mother wears them, she sleeps with them and says she doesn't have a days trouble, got some trials today, will put the proclears on ice and try the biofinity's.

Just some feedback, tried the biofinities, and they are very comfortable, really impressed, does give a white effect when getting a bit dry, but its very hot and dry here, to soon to reaLly say anything, will keep you posted.

It sounds like you found some good lenses. Just one question, though. What is a "white effect"?

My lenses tend to do that later in the evening after I have worn them all day. To me it looks like everything has fog on it maybe? Anyway you could try Blink-N-Clean. It is a rewetting drop that helps remove protein from your lenses. It helps with mine.

Rhodes95 might just have something there. It could very well be a protein buildup that's causing that smoky look.
