Hello grzes and welcome to the forum.

That's another new name to add to the collection of rebranded names for Biofinity lenses!

Aw man, I can't open a PDF file! This is a borrowed computer and I can't be downloading stuff.

I went to a bunch of different sites, looking for the SiH 48-Biofinity connection and didn't find anything other than people on blogs like this one expressing their opinions, not facts. Finally I went directly to the Biofinity page of Coopervision.com and didn't find "SiH 48" anywhere.

I'm not saying you're wrong, drknjl, I just need something other than a PDF file to look at.
Maybe someone can check out the link provided up there and tell the rest of us what it says.

Wow. I got post #104! This is indeed a popular subject.

By the way, Tiger, I can't open PDF files either.

The pdf file is a table of properties for different lenses. For the Biofinity lenses - Comfilcon A lens material, it states SiH48 as being the same material. CooperVision allow multiple rebranded names for the same Biofinity/Comfilcon A lens. There is not doubt and CooperVision do not deny that Biofinity and SiH48 are one and the same.
