I just found this out and thought I should share it.
There are lots of people out there who wear their contact lenses for too long. Maybe you're one of them. You eye doctor told you to change your Biofinity contact lenses once a month, but it's not all that unusual for you to wear them for six weeks, maybe even two months. Those things are expensive, you know. Besides, they feel fine. Well, according to what I just read, when you wear your contacts longer than you're supposed to, it numbs your corneal nerves and you don't feel the discomfort that you should. So don't think you aren't damaging your eyes just because they don't hurt. Please stick to the replacement schedule your eye care professional has recommended. |
