Have you ever heard of something called a "dispensing towel"? Well, here's a picture of one right here. You lay it down on the counter to absorb any cleaning solution that get spilled. Since contact lenses don't usually "dispense" anything, I get the impression that these towels are only sold to doctors. Can a patient buy one of these to keep things neat?

Not a bath towel. Those have too much lint that would stick to your contacts and get in your eyes.
