Is it my eye of the lens problem?

Hi guys, i am using biomedics 38 contact lens. I am wearing it to school everyday for more than 8hours. When in the morning i wear, my left eye will feel extremly uncomfortable after i wear but a awhile later it became ok. I don't feel what i feel on my right eye, my right eye is perfectly fine with the lens. i clear my contact regulary, everytime i wore i will clean it. My left eye degree are higher than my right eye. Any idea what happen? should i continue to wear?

I tried 3 kinds of lens already acuvue,bausch lomb,biomedics38(currently using not trying.)

Hi there shaun166. Let me see if I understand you. You put your contact lenses in, and the left one hurts, but then it settles down and you're fine. I don't think I would keep wearing those if I were you. You might want to see your eye doctor to have the fit checked.

Ya that is what i meant thanks for replying. Somehow I tried 3 brands already... Or it is problem with the solution? And To know what kind of lens I suite can be checked by anything other then keep try different brands?

Hi shaun166. I'm afraid I don't know of any other way of knowing how contact lenses will feel without actually trying them on. Your eye doctor can at least narrow the field down by eliminating lenses that are similar to the ones that bother your eye. I've not seen the numbers, but I would think that a lot of people had tried more than three brands before they found contact lenses they like. Keep us posted and let us know if there's anything else we can do to help.

Bootz is right. Keep trying different things until you find something that works for you.

I haven't tried any new brands yet. Any good brand to recommend for long hours of wearing?

Acuvue and Bausch & Lomb are companies, not lenses. What lenses did you try?
