Default Being Sleepy

Can being sleepy have an effect on handling contact lenses? Has it affected you, personally?
This question has a lot of potential for funny stories.

It can, I dropped one down the drain in the sink one time and had to take the pipe off underneath to get it out, then had to clean it off. Don't do that one. ^^

Yikes. For my money, once a contact lens goes down the drain, it's gone. There's no way I'd disassemble the drain to fetch a contact lens. No amount of cleaning in the world would get that lens clean enough to put it in my eye. I hope you didn't get an infection from doing that--and I hope you never do that again. Let it go.
