Default Biomedics 55 Evolution - The Next Big Thing

I just read about what promises to be the Next Big Thing in contact lens technology. It's Biomedics 55 Evolution, and the really big deal is that these contacts come equipped with (Cue the music.) the Aberration Neutralizing System (TM). This help to eliminate the blur that you often see with other contact lenses and gives you unparalleled crisp vision.

Try it!

Has anyone tried these? Can anyone compare these to ordinary Biomedics 55s? Would like to hear people's experiences - my understanding is that these represent a newer version of the Biomedics 55s.

What kind of music would you like. I was thinking about the theme from "2001: A Space Odyssey." You'd reach those two climactic notes right before "the Aberration Neutralizing System."
Can't you hear those drums pounding now?

what is the difference between these and the Biomedics 55 Premier lenses? Since both have an aspheric design and the premier touts the ultra-clear and crisp vision motto?

According to the Coopervision website, they really seem to emphasize the "patented edge design for better comfort." The website also talks about "excellent wearing comfort, enhanced image quality regardless of prescription and UV blocking protection," but a lot of other contact lens manufacturers make similar claims. If their "edge design" is patented, then it must be unique, right?

This reminds me of an episode of House where he has to give a speech about some new medical device from Vogler's company and he pretty much states the the old product worked perfectly so the new product is just a way to make more money

I just started watching "House" and it's already clear to me that Dr. House has no trouble speaking his mind. Has he ever dealt with someone wearing contact lenses on the show?

Just once I'd like to hear Dr. House say something like "this patient has myofibrial halitosis" but he'd be wrong.

You like that? "Myofibrial halitosis"? I just made that up.

Default What Happened?

So what's become of this Aberration Neutralizing System that I originally mentioned in 2008? Anybody know?
Sure I could just look it up, but what's the fun in that?

I do like that. Maybe the show needs another script writer. I don't know what "myofibrial" means (and neither does Spell Check), but I do know what "halitosis" is.

Gum?
