Maybe I've got a bad source of information, but I think Lens 101 readers can help guide me to the truth.
I've heard that in the United States, Biomedics 55 contacts are sold as 2 week contacts, but in Europe they are monthly contact lenses. That's not all. I'm told that in Europe these same Biomedics 55 contacts are sold as three month contact lenses! You don't have to be a mathematician or an optometrist to see that two weeks is very different than three months! Can anyone confirm that these differences in wear times is accurate? How can they be? How can a two-week lens last for three months? Unless it really is a three month contact lens and some countries want to sell more of them. Stay tuned. |
