Default Biomedics 55 Contact Lenses Without a Prescription??
I just read about a guy who has worn Biomedics 55 contacts for years. His eye doctor tried to get him to wear a different kind. He said he didn't like them so he just went out and bought some more Biomedics.

Maybe he left a few details out of the story, but is it possible that even though he (presumably) had a prescription for a different brand, he still was able to get his beloved Biomedics?

Yeah... if this is possible I'd sure like to know how. I tried to switch brands online and they called my doctor and nixed the deal. I'm so desperate now I planning to fly to Mexico and buy what i want in a contact vending machine at the Mexico City Airposrt and then fly back to the U.S. I'm so g.d. tired of my optomitrist gouging me every time i want a minor change.

You're complaining about your optometrist "gouging" you, yet you're willing to fly to Mexico for contacts out a vending machine? Perhaps you need to just sit down, take a few deep breaths, and maybe consider switching doctors before you book your flight on Air Mexico.

Mountain has 14 posts on this forum, and 13 of them are just a fragment of a previous post. In one case the quote come from a completely different thread. The last one is just a random statement that has little or nothing to do with the thread it's in.

Why would someone waste their time (and ours) like that? Could it be that maybe "mountain" is not from around these parts and just doesn't get how this thing works? I can't help but picture a small child or a very child-like adult doing this.

How are you T. Arthur? Why did the contact lens company "nix the deal"? Did you try to order a brand of contact lenses that you didn't have a prescription for? If so, what made you decide that the brand you tried to order was better than the brand prescribed to you? Is it just because it was cheaper?

Keep in mind that the contact lens company has to watch its own backside. They could get into a lot of trouble for selling you contact lenses that you do not have a prescription for.
