Default Biomedics XC Plus Plain Glasses

I had a friend years ago who came to my house wearing fake glasses, just to be fashionable. Thinking about that made me curious about something.

What would happen if you wore plain, no-prescription fake glasses on top of real-deal, prescription Biomedics XC contact lenses?

I don't think it would be harmful, just pointless. If you want to wear glasses, why the contacts?

You're quite right, Sox05. There's really no point in wearing fake glasses if you wear real contacts.

No doubt, but I don't see any of them responding in this thread.

You're right about that, Railfan.

I like your picture of the dog wearing glasses, too.

I'm glad you like the picture. I think a person wearing glasses when they don't need to is almost as silly as a dog wearing glasses.

I agree. I wore glasses when I was in grade school and I didn't wear them proudly. I don't see why anyone would want to wear glasses if they didn't need too.

Oh, I know what you're saying.

Is anyone else going to join in this conversation?

I have Dr.s, financial adviseres etc. getting fake glasses because they are in their mid twenties to thirties and their clients are fifties to seventies. The perception is that they look smarter and more 'bookish' rather than-'He's just a kid, what does he know ??'

Wow. That's a good idea, I never thought of that. I could see why people might want a financial advisor who wears glasses.

How you found that to be true in your own case? Now that you've read this post do you catch yourself judging someone as being wise because he or she is wearing glasses?

I wouldn't mind spending some time with her and, um, "benefiting from her wisdom."

Of course, if she were truly wise she'd run as I approached . . .

She looks very learned and wise in her tight tank top as well. Like Sox05 said, sitting at her feet and watching her--I mean listening to her lecture would be a good way to spend the day.
