Default Biomedics XC Contact Lenses - Another Blue Box

Have you ever noticed how many contact lenses are sold in blue boxes? Why is that? Is it because everyone wishes they had blue eyes and if they do, they're so glad that seeing the color blue reminds them that they have blue eyes and they feel good?
Is it because blue is considered a cool color and your eyes feel good when they're cool and not burning and itching?

probably just a perception/marketing gimmic to make people believe that these lenses are friendly to the eyes (saline is the eyes' best friend).

these lenses do have a high water content and have PC embedded into the lens.

"the phosphorylcholine (PC) molecules in Biomedics XC's lens material create a shield that keeps the lenses hydrated and free of surface deposits longer, which in turn, keeps your patients’ eyes healthy and comfortable throughout the day"

I'm no marketing expert, but the blue box does make me think of something cool and soothing, and blue is the opposite of red, a color that you don't want to see in your eyes. So I guess you could say that blue is the "anti-bloodshot" color.

Sounds like the best thing about those blue boxes is that they're not red.

lol that's exactly what I was thinking! Clear, light boxes are supposed to sell better than dark ones... Or red!

The proclear is a revolutionary material and no material behaves quite like this one and is fantastic for dry eyes.
