Default Bolle Quasar Blue Dragonfly Goggles - Polarization Optional?

I found these goggles on line and I think they look pretty cool. However, the website said something unusual. It said "Polarized lenses when you go skiing or snowboarding depends on the person wearing the goggles."

Is that really true? Is polarization just an option that depends on the Preference of the person buying them, or should everyone wear polarized lenses?

I suppose polarization is optional the same way goggles are optional. You don't HAVE to wear goggles when you're skiing or snowboard, but you'll probably be more comfortable, even if you have to spend a little money.
You can say the same thing about a polarized lens in your goggles.

Go ahead, say the same thing about a polarized lens in your goggles.

Try what? Polarized lenses in your goggles? I don't know. If I were to buy Bolle Goggles with polarized lenses, will they cost more than goggles without the fancy polarization?

I checked the Bolle website, and it said "Bollé features Brown and Aurora polarized lenses with a polarized film that blocks the horizontal reflected component of light. The result is enhanced contrast so you will see more terrain features and icy patches. Featured on the Gravity, Fathom, Monarch, Nova, Nebula, and X9."

My guess is that goggles like Dragonfly are either polarized or not.

As for the price, I checked the polarized Fathom goggles versus the non-polarized Quasar goggles and they both were advertised at $99.99.

Woah! A hundred bucks? I suppose that would sound more reasonable if I were a skier, but I prefer to stay indoors when it's below freezing.

(It's funny to look at this picture today because it's pretty hot outside. 94 degrees, says here.)

If you are a snowboard fan and enjoy the fast and extreme races, you should probably have a good pair of sunglasses. The sunglasses, which are especially made for snowboarding, are called goggles. They are a necessary accessory for the snowboard equipment.

Those hats and scarves are looking more appropriate today. It's not twenty below, but it's not quite 94 degrees out there today. 70 degrees, according to Yahoo.

Do you have more than one pair of Bolle Sunglasses?

Are they pronounced "bolly" or "bo-lay"? I thought it was "bo-lay" until I saw the way you spelled it and it caused me to doubt.

I saw a website that had a commercial on it. In that commercial the girl in the voice-over said "Bo-lay." Rhymes with what you'd shout at a bullfight: "Olé!"
