Clear Care does work really well for disinfecting EO or any other GP lenses. Personally, I find that for maximum comfort throughout the day I need to have my lenses soak in a wetting/conditioning fluid overnight. The best I have found is Boston Original. I clean my lenses with Boston Original and/or Ciba Vision's Miraflow daily cleaner and rinse with tap water; I then rub my lenses with Boston Original conditioning solution. After that I put it in the lens case and cover the lenses with the solution. In the morning I just take them out of the case and put them straight in! They are blurry for a few minutes but clear up shortly.
My Boston ES lenses wet very well with this regimen. I would like to find a way to work Clear Care into my routine just to have peroxide disinfection, but it does not condition the lenses very well. You could try cleaning with a daily cleaner, disinfecting with Clear Care, and wetting with a solution like Boston conditioning fluid. Clear Care states that you can rub GP lenses with it but I find the cleaner to be insufficient for my deposits, so a separate daily cleaner is necessary for me. YMMV. |
