Clear Care does work really well for disinfecting EO or any other GP lenses. Personally, I find that for maximum comfort throughout the day I need to have my lenses soak in a wetting/conditioning fluid overnight. The best I have found is Boston Original. I clean my lenses with Boston Original and/or Ciba Vision's Miraflow daily cleaner and rinse with tap water; I then rub my lenses with Boston Original conditioning solution. After that I put it in the lens case and cover the lenses with the solution. In the morning I just take them out of the case and put them straight in! They are blurry for a few minutes but clear up shortly.
My Boston ES lenses wet very well with this regimen. I would like to find a way to work Clear Care into my routine just to have peroxide disinfection, but it does not condition the lenses very well. You could try cleaning with a daily cleaner, disinfecting with Clear Care, and wetting with a solution like Boston conditioning fluid. Clear Care states that you can rub GP lenses with it but I find the cleaner to be insufficient for my deposits, so a separate daily cleaner is necessary for me. YMMV. |

For those of you who are a bit confused by Nicholas' last comment, "YMMV" stands for "Your Mileage May Vary." Isn't that right, Nicholas? In other words, your experience with Boston ES may be different from those posted here, and that's okay. |

the two best systems for rgp is boston advance system and the Optimum system(great for sensitive eyes). The preservative system in boston advance solution thoroughly cleans and disinfects after a tap water rinse. Optimum requires a saline rinse after disinfection and the application of the wetting solution for insertion! |

Really. I've never heard that before. I heard that Miraflow was discontinued, too. Do I need to get my ears checked?

Where you have a cleaner, saline, hydrogen peroxide and two lens cups...one is for disinfection 30 min...then u transfer the lens holder to another cup with the disc down below. then u fill it with saline and neutralize over night. Does anyone remember this system from the 80's! |

The lensept system was one of the first peroxide systems in the early 80"s!

Sof Pro. That's a new one. I've never heard of it. I found a picture, though. Eventually.
