I use the Boston cleaning solution with scrubbing beads. Just what I started out with and it’s what I use. It really gets them clean.
I place the lens in my hand add a few drops to the inside of the lens and in a circular motion I work the solution around the entire lens surface then rinse under a fine stream of tap filtered water. Last edited by Archives Admin; 01-13-2009 at 10:02 AM.. |

Thanks for sharing your cleaning technique. I noticed you said that you use a circular motion. I thought I read someplace that you're supposed to work from the center outward. Have you ever heard of that? |

When I first got fitted one of the things that he was emphatic about, and so were the other ophthalmologist was that using a circular motion makes sure that both surfaces are being cleaned completely. I actually tried it when I was being instructed on my lens and it just doesn't get the lens clean at all.
The beads depend on a constant motion and circular makes sure of that. julie Last edited by Archives Admin; 01-13-2009 at 10:03 AM.. |
