It looks like you've become our resident cheerleader for Boston Advance. You don't sell it, do you?

That's good. I wouldn't mind if you did, just as long as you didn't try to take business away from Lens.com. Some people aren't as laid back as I am, though. They get very bent out of shape if they think you might be trying to sell them something.

Since you're not selling anything, I hope you plan to buy some Boston XO contacts from Lens.com. They'd be more than happy to sell you some.

I don't know if I could do that and if the fit isn't correct my doctor wouldn't be responsible for the problem since he didn't order them! I find it's easier just to call his office and order them. Maybe their cheaper through lens.com; I don't know!

I forgot that my Boston XO lenses are mult-focal lenses with the "Lifestyle Design" I don't think that I could get this lens in those Paremeters and I'm sure that they would cost a lot more than that price!

What's a "Lifestyle Design"? It sounds very impressive.

It's just a multi-focal design that is made something like progressive eyeglass lenses. The distance power is in the middle of the lens and the lens gradually gets stronger toward the edge thus giving me close up vision.

The Lifestyle Company invented this particular design and independent labs make this design and the Lifestyle Company itself also makes this lens. My prescription for close up add is 3.75 D and they're the only company that wil make that high of an add so my lenses are manufactured with that company instead of an "independent" lab.

It is just a design that my opteometrist uses but there are other bifocal designs out there; it just depends on what works for a particular patient!

Oh, so "Lifestyle" is a brand name, then? It's not a product description like "multifocal" is, right?

It is a "multifocal lens" design.

I can see that you're not all that interested in ordering from the sponsor, and that's fine. It's just that when you order from them, they won't sell you any contacts until you send them a prescription from your doctor, and that should all but guarantee a good fit.

That was fast. You answered my question in less than an hour. Thank you. I guess they must work pretty well if you're willing to have them specially made by Lifestyle.
