yes i would say that it is,because i just got the XO because the ES was giving me trouble ,,but the XO dries my eyes terribly for some reason so i would agree it is the tear level in ones eyes that causes the blurriness when blinking

i switched to the hydro 2 and they are a little better but not by much ,,i did switch eye dr's though so going to see if she can fit me better because actually i think that is what is the problem i do not think it is the lens itself so will wait and see what happens
