So many people these days are wearing soft contact lenses. Why have you chosen to go with Boston XO?

I went with Boston XO lenses because of vision quality. I had RK surgery 19 years ago and found that soft lenses were not giving me clear and consistent vision. I just got them today and the crisp vision is amazing. They are not quite as comfortable as soft, but not nearly as bad as I had heard. My Dr said that these lenses transmit lots of oxygen which is good for eye health.

hi,,i am a new rgp lens wearer my first pair was the boston ES and i had alot of problems ,,left lens needed to be refitted (flatter base curve) to match the right which was fine,so the next pair was boston XO because i did some research and the ES was a lower oxygen so wanted the higher oxygen so they sent the XO ,,the fit is a little better but not by much i asked the dr if the left one which was giving me trouble again needed to be flatter more and he said no because it would drop to fast ,,and the dryness im getting with the XO is just unreal ,,i wore soft lenses for 20 yrs and thought well the rgp's do not absorb the tears like soft so that is why the switch so any suggestions?? do i stay with the XO ?? since they are a higher oxygen lens or switch to something else?

hi,,,yes they feel a little better but not by much and i also tried the hydro 2 and they were only slightly better ,,so far the ones that are the most comfortable are the boston ES ,,i checked on acculens.com and noticed they have the highest wetting angle of all the lenses they have listed so maybe that is why they feel better on my eyes, you would think the other two would be but no they are not

One other thing. I found this picture on Lens.com when I looked up Boston ES. Do they really come in blank vials like that? |
