Default Which care system are u using with your ?

I have dry sensitive eyes and I tolerate Boston advanced Cleaner, Boston advanced conditioning solution, Boston protein remover, and Boston rewetting drops.

I tolerate the system ok....but just wondering what other systems are people using out there to maintain their rgp lenses?

This is an old post for me....I've since switched to the lobob optimum rgp lens care products and I have them to be much better. No haziness or gucky lenses since.

The extra strength cleaner removes all lens soilants yet rinses easily with saline rinse.
The disinfectant is also easily rinseable prior to lens wetting and insertion.

I also use unizyme protein remover once a week to maintain super clean and comfortable lenses.

Its weird to me because all you can buy here in Canada is BL Boston advance.
    That's it.
There's no other care system available for rgp lenses. I am allergic to the preservative system in Boston solutions and lenses would end up hazy.smudgy and coated with deposits within a few hours.

Since I started using the lobob optimum products all of the allergy symptoms went away.bummer tho.they are not available for retail purchase here in Canada so I order them monthly online.about $50 permonth with delivery.

I know that's a lot but combined with the performance of Boston xo2 lenses with the allergy free care of lobob I am a happy rgp lens dihard.

    Update: day three

Just put my lenses in and cannot believe how comfortable they are.
The esc cleaner is super sudsy so I have to be more gentle cleaning the lenses.I accidentally flicked my left lens. no damage tho.

Both the esc cleaner and csc disinfectant is really easy to rinse off with no issues burning or stinging. I am also able to wear the lenses longer with no coatings or buildup. End of day comfort is also good.

The rewetting drop is a godsend if dust or stuff in the air gets underneath lenses so the drops flushed it away and really makes the lenses comfortable without being like the consistency of glue like Boston advance solutions. The rewetting drops also moistures the eyes as well.

The esc cleaner removes all buildup from lenses and is quite strong but rinses easily. I use BL sensitive eyes saline for rinsing.

I'm glad you gave us such a good report. It sounds like you have your cleaner. What do "esc" and "csc" stand for, though?

Sorry they are acronyms.....esc -extra strength cleaner. cds -cleaning disinfecting soaking.

For the optimum line of care products for rgp lenses.

    Here is an update!
    Dec.29th/2017

I am using a different combination of care products now.
I use LOBOB ESC as my daily cleaner.
Then use MENICON UNIQUE PH as my storage and disinfection solution.
Supra cleans daily one drop protein remover.
Opti-free pro eye drop as my pre insertion wetting aid
    PROGENT bi-weekly protein remover.

k**as I have sensitive eyes and am a heavy depositor, this combination of products is working great for me. And because this combo keeps my lenses wet and clean I can wear them longer and comfortably from morning to night.
