Okay, let the speculation begin. Who on this forum thinks that Christina Aguilera wears color contacts? Who thinks it doesn't matter because no one ever looks at her eyes?

I think she has blue eyes, and doesn't wear contacts. That is my vote, and I will stick by it

It is easy to see when someone is wearing lens, there's a layer or the brown is showing in the hole for the pupil. Right here Christina is wearing green/grey lens and you see the blue showing in the middle ...

You see the difference with Paris Hilton ? The brown in the middle and the very fake blue layer as if there's a plastic on top of her eye ;

I know Christina is not wearing blue contacts..her eyes are naturally blue, just check when she was a kid

Ha - must be an old post, eh? I think she still looks pretty good, even with a few extra lbs. She may very well have naturally blue eyes, especially if her ancestry is half-Irish. Not all Latin people have dark eyes (Cameron Diaz, Adriana Lima, etc.). In fact, two brown-eyed parents can have a child with blue eyes, because one or both of them may carry the recessive gene for blue eyes. However, two blue-eyed (or other light-eyed) parents cannot have a brown-eyed child, because the brown gene is dominant, meaning if they carried the gene for brown eyes, they would have brown eyes themselves.

Well....that was clear as mud wasn't it?

I got to that "two brown-eyed parents can have a child with blue eyes" and my brown eyes began to glaze over.

Christina's eyes are naturally a grey blue but she has been known to wear enhancers to make them a more vibrant blue

Enhancers don't have a pupil hole, and since the change isn't as dramatic they look more natural

In the 1st picture, you can discern that she is wearing a lens that makes her eyes have a greenish color--there is a pupil hole and limbal ring so it is more spottable

The 2nd pic is probably the work of enhancers, as you can see there is no pupil hole but her eyes are very very blue

I wouldn't use Paris Hilton as an example--she uses a very vibrant opaque blue lens to cover brown eyes--and they aren't even customs so the pupil hole is very large
