Default Can Miss USA Wear Colored Contact Lenses?

Crystle Stewart, newly crowned Miss USA, is of course a beautiful woman. She is to be congratulated for her achievement in the pageant as well as her work helping young people to build self-esteem.

What does that have to do with contact lenses? Not much, except that when I look at pictures of Miss Stewart, she appears to have blue eyes. One has to admit that this is an unusual trait in African-Americans like her.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but here's my question. Should beauty pageant contestants be allowed to wear color contacts? Are they to be considered cosmetic enhancers on the level of breast implants, or should they just be considered makeup, like mascara?

I'd be interested in your opinions. Thank you.

No, I don't think they should be allowed to wear contacts, but then again, I'm all for natural beauty, so no plastic surgery too.

I agree with psimonk on this one. I love colored contact lenses.
