How important is the name to you? If you found a pair of sunglasses that was identical to these, but without Ms. Brinkley's name on them, would you be interested in buying them?

I'm not much of a celebrity stalker. I don't watch TV or listen to the radio.
I read someplace, maybe here, about a TV show starring Tommy Shaw from Styx. The camera followed him as he prepared for a concert. On an elevator he met a fan who recognized him and asked him calmly about the music and what's next for Styx and when they got off the elevator, Shaw looked into the camera and said "That guy was great."
That's the kind of fan I'd like to be, so no, as much as I admire Christie Brinkley's work, I would buy a pair of sunglasses solely on the basis of having her name on them.
