Default SoftColors for Light Colored Eyes Only?

I've read a little bit about these SoftColors contact lenses. It seems almost as if they are intended only for people with light colored eyes. Is that really true? I always thought that brown was not only the dominant eye color genetically, but the least popular eye color. It seems like everyone wants blue eyes. So why would CibaSoft and others make contact lenses just for people who already have the "perfect" eye color?
Maybe I just don't get the whole "soft color" concept. Can some one help me?

It's easy. People with light eyes can also want to change their eye color to a different shade, but they have the advantage that only with a soft tint they can change blue to amber, thats why softcolors (enhancers) exist.

Ciba makes all their color lenses for people with dark eyes, opaque contacts, and I dont find weird that they dedicate one product line for people with light eyes.

I looked at those pictures. They look nice, even in brown eyes. Thank you for your explanation and the pictures, Electribe. Everyone likes looking at the pictures.
