Default Cleaning Cibasoft Softcolors Contact Lenses with Reset

Have you ever heard of these eye drops called Reset? I just read about them and you're supposed to be able to drop these right in your eyes with the contacts in place. Are there many eye drops that can be used while wearing contacts without taking them out?

Smile Reset drops

Hi Rose!
I wear Bifocal GP Lenses and initially had problems with them 'fogging'. I tried several Lens Solutions but none helped until I discovered 'Reset'. They are brilliant! I instil one or two drops into each eye as soon as I have put in my lenses and that usually lasts until I remove the lenses, about 12 to 15 hours later. Ocasionally if my eyes feel a little dry , I add another drop or two but it can be a bit awkward if wearing mascara as I end up with black streaks down my face!
Check the 'Use by Date' though as Reset is preservative-free and only has a relatively short shelf life.
Hope that helps. Regards, Sandi

Pardon me for interrupting, but from one Sandi to another, thanks for the helpful answer. Reset sounds great! If only they can make it so it doesn't streak your mascara!

Great answer, Sandi. Thanks for your time!
One more question, though. How often do you find yourself adding those one or two extra drops of Reset? You sound pretty satisfied so I don't think it's very often.
Thanks again,

Rosetyler

Default Reset

I only really have to use them a second time if I have spent more than about six hours staring at the computer screen. I am an oldie and have worn lenses for over forty years. I don't think this would be necessary with young eyes.
I would certainly recommend that you give them a try.

Wow. Has it really been like, eight months since I checked this thread? Thanks again, Sandi. I wish you many more years of comfortable eyes. Are you still using the Reset drops? Have you considered soft contact lenses also?

Hi Rose
Great to hear from you again. Yes I am still using Reset drops and they are wonderful.
I have never really considered changing to soft lenses as I have had such good results with GP lenses for so many years. I am very short sighted and am not even sure that my eyes would be suitable for them.
I only need to have a new pair of lenses every three or four years so cost-wise GP lenses are a better option for me too.
I presume that you do wear soft lenses, Rose. Are you using Reset with them now?
I hope that it won't be another eight months before I hear from you next time. How time flies!
Kind Regards, Sandi

Hi there everyone! Actually this is the first time that I've heard of reset. And I'm curious, was it the same even if you do not remove our contact lens when applying it? Because for all I know you do need to remove your contact lens first, otherwise it would be useless.

hi,,, i got the "reset" eye drops that they were talking about you can only get them from the UK it is not available in the USA and it is ok nothing really special in my opinion in fact i got 2 bottles of it and wish i had only gotten 1 it is quite expensive i have used it for soft and gp lenses as i can wear both types and i say don't waste your $$$$ the drops here in the usa are just as good if not better ,,i think the best contact lens drops for "soft" lenses are by ALCON called "clerz 2" and for GP lenses the Optimum/Lobob WRW(wetting and rewetting drop) are the best and believe me over the yrs i've tried ALL kinds lol but i think it all depends on the person's eye chem myself which is best for u

Thanks for the information, dda1960. I didn't know that Rest was not available in the United States. Thanks for the US equivalents. Does anyone else want to comment on Reset, Clerz 2, Optimum/Lobob WRW, or any other eye drop you'd recommend?

Hi Sandi. I wonder if you can share with us your technique for putting in eye drops. It seems like no matter what I try, I wind up with more ON my eye than IN my eye. How do you get past the blink reflex?
