I hope nobody wears Soft Colors contacts in the pool because they're expensive to replace.
Still, I read something about wearing contact lenses in a swimming pool and it made several points that I want to go over. Here are the reasons you shouldn't wear contact lenses of any kind in a swimming pool: *Water is "wetter" than your eyes, so the contact lenses will fall out. *Contact lenses absorb chlorine. *Even chlorinated water has amoebas that can cause a nasty infection. *Water in the pool will draw out the water in your contact lenses. They will stick to your eyes and you will have to get the eye doctor to removed them. Commets? |
